This August marks the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's Aug. 15 death.
What better way to commemorate it than with a new/old $60,000 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The recreated personalized 1957 Black Harley-Davidson FLH model, styled after the one Presley once owned, is priced at $58,815 and only 30 are being created, with No. 2 through 24 sold using a lottery system and bikes 25 through 29 sold at a later date. Bike "No. 1" will be sold for $100,000 and $40,000 will be donated to the American Diabetes Association.
Bruce Rossmeyer, CEO of 12 Harley-Davidson locations around the country, including the world's largest dealership in Daytona, Fla., and the all-new Graceland Harley-Davidson located in Memphis, Tenn., made the announcement this week and will unveil the new Elvis Presley Anniversary Bike Signature Series at Graceland April 22.
